It was much nicer than I expected it would be and has a very nice gift shop, too. I was disappointed, though, for my 10-year olds that the similator wasn't working. Maybe on my next visit to Goshen, we'll try again.
Beautiful museum, very well maintained. Lots of things to do from interactive games, to a 3D amusement-park-like ride to beautiful original art in the gift shop. Free admission. All the staff are wonderful.
For such a small museum, it's great. Good place with kids as there are lots of interactive activities. We were interested even though we knew nothing about harness racing going in (just looking for a good rainy day activity while visiting friends).
We are still smiling! AAA should list this museum as a Gem, if they haven't already done so. The exhibits, layout, video, 3-D video, and cleanliness of the place were all excellent. The staff was very helpful and attentive and we found souvenirs to buy at the well stocked gift shop. Overall, a great experience, memorable, and did I mention that all this was FREE?
I don't know much about horse racing or horse culture, but I had a fun time walking around this museum.
